Ore gon, on May 13. 1917, after an ill ness of one week. He was born in the year 1831. being a native of the state of- Indiana. He crossed the plains in the year 1871. Mr. Hagan lived at Klkton for many years, be ing engaged In farming. He later moved to Koseburg and then to Portland, where he lived until his death. He leaves to mourn his de parture a wife and ten children, be ing Mrs. Jane Harding, Mrs. L. J. Speck and Mrs. S. P. Iiighani, of Oak Grove; Mrs. Roy Allen, of Portland; Mrs. Sam Alexander, of Oregon City; A. W. Hargan ,of Klkton; Mrs. Will Simmons, and Georee and Charles Hargan. of Oregon City.
