Williams this morn ing received a circular Irom Marys ville, CaL, containing a description of George Wilson, who is wanted by the officers of the California city. It is alleged that Wilson is a bogus so licitor and has represented himself lo be an employe of the Collier Pub lishing Company. He is said to be headed north and the Uosehurg offi cers have been requested to arrest him in the event, he comes to this city. Th1 circular received by M r. Williams intimated that Wilson transacted considerable business at Marysvilh and other California tow n s w h ere he visited. Contractor in Hosehuri: C. K. Hade, the contractor who had charge of laying the new water main between Hoseburg and Win chester for the Douglas County Water & Light Company, arrived in the city Sunday from Portland. He will spend several days here looking after business matters. Daniel Ford Improved Daniel Ford, who last Thursday suffered from a fainting spell, is said to be about recovered. The patient was attended by Dr. Hoover and it was at first thought lie was in pre carious condition. Mr. Ford resides in North Hoseburg and has many friends who are glad lo learn that he is improving. Divorce ( use ( Vni intieil Judiie Hamilton this morning con tinued the rase of V. A. Huell s. Administrator pointed I County Judge Marsters this morn ing made an order appointing S. M. Pardee administrator of the estate of the late John Pardee, who died in Douglas County in April. lsnS. Mr. Pardee left real and personal property valued at approximately $.".n0. There are three heirs to the ; estate, including J. W. Pardee, of Canyonville; J. S. Pardee, of Klam ath Falls, and S. M. Mother Visits Here ! Mrs. Kdward Jones, of Cottage Grove, arrived here last evening to visit with her daughter. Mrs. Hoy Bellows. The latter is said to be quite ill following the loss of a child j at S: 1 .i o'clock yesterday morning, J a few hours after birth. Talked Before Masons 1 H. H. Coleman. Past Grand Chap lain of tho Masonic lodge of Ken tucky, last Saturday night addressed , the members of the local Masonic i lodges at a special meeting held in this city. Mr. Coleman is a most in teresting talker and his remarks were much appreciated. He left here last night for Portland and other northern cities, where he will con tinue his series of lectures. One of the institutes will probably he held mi the vicinity of Gardiner. While iu England Mrs. llarrop witnessed the preparations of her husband's regiment for the war and Hpent several months in the most bit ter realization of its horrors while her husband, with thousands of other recruits, were in training. She was married but two weeks before her husband was called with his company at Vancouver. For the past eight months she lias been in Eng land and understands what no per son in this country can know with out being present in one of the bel ligerent nations.
