Miss Veva Iiulek, who bad been visiting at Eugene for the past sev eral weeks, returned here this illum ing. V. Kingory, of Yonrnlla, came over last evening to attend the dance held under the auspices of the local Coast Artillery Company. Attorney W, W. Caldwell and fam ily canio in from their ranch in Coles Valley yesterday mid spent the day with friends. Attorney John T. Long and wife spent Thanksgiving at Cleveland visiting with the former's mother. A turkey dinner was one of the delight ful features of the occasion. An execution has been issued anil served in the case of Banks & Wei ker vs. J. M. Spancako. The case was originally brought by Hanks & Welker to recover the sum of ap proximately $75. IT. P. Hebard and wire, Lester Kamp and sister, and John llacon and wife were among the I'mpiiua residents who spent last evening in Hoseburg attending "Tbo lllrth or a Nation" at the Antlers theater. D. E. Mr. Luke was brought to Koseburg by a deputy sherifr upon instructions of Sheriff Orr, of Dallas. Word was received here today to the effect that Attorney (ins Mower, of Portland, will arrive in Hoseburg early Hivjjday to deliver the address at tho memorial services to be held under the auspices of tlio Koseburg lodge of Elks Sunday afternoon. The services will be held ill tile Elks' temple. In addition to Mr. Moser's address the program will include musical numbers by local talent and ritualistic work by the lodge.
