The steamer Castilia sank off Manitou Is land in a blinding snowstorm last night. Twenty-two sailors were drowned. Seaman Edward Laundry clung to a life boat and was rescued. He was the lone survivor. Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Livingston, of Peel, spent last night in this city. A. Schloemann and G. W. Shrum were among the Glide residents in this city today. John B. He will later go to Portland and thence to points in Washington, where he has relatives. Mr. Stock owns a small farm in this vicinity. Claude Patcher, a farmer of near Drain, and Miss Oilpha Krewson were married at the home of the bride's parents, Sunday, Nov. 5. ac cording to returns filed with the county clerk's office today.
