of four vietims of Ihe cloudburst In
Hay canvon were recovered today. A

Kortner and her daughter, Mrs. Law

w as carried away and demolished
The body of Mrs. Lawrence was
found four miles away, and that of
M i s. Fort net w as found nine miles
down the valley this morning.
Three men were camped In a tent
under the hillside, repairing the
mad. They fled to a nearby knoll
u hen t he w ater sw ept their tent
away. Seeinc higher water coming,
two of the men crossed a ravine and
attempted to reach higher ground.
One became entangled in the brush
and was drowned. The other pulled
himself to satety. The third, remain
ing on lite knoll, was swept away and
drowned. The men's bodied were
found thiee miles down the stream.
