A DA V AT Till': HICACIL A gay and Joyous parly left Sun day morning for the beach on hoard the launch Jay, In command of Cap tain Janelle, chaperoned by Joe Por ter. The destination was tho South Peach. Tho party was composed mostly of tho railroad people who were out for a merry timo, and by all reports they had It. The day was an ideal one, for a picnic on the beach, warm and beau tiful; no fog or wind to contend with. The bay was as smooth as glass, witli an occasional ripple; the bar had gone to sleep, which tempted the party to cross out with their launch, an enjoyable venturo, which Is very seldom undertaken on account of tiio roughness of the bar. At high noon lunch was prepared in a shady spot near tho beach.' The fresh morn ing air and the wullts along tho sea wall had prepared an appetite which would have done justice to a less elaboralo dinner than the ono which had been prepared. As the sun was threatening to fall Into the sea, the sonorous command of Captain Jaualle, "All Aboard," was heard. The party returned to the launch and soon were homeward bound, arriving at C : II 0 , well satis fied with their day's outing. The party consisted of W. II.
