'was -no liklihood of agreeing upon

gree. It was not until after 10 o'
clock that Mr. Woodruff came over
as soon as the jury had reached

verdict was later read by the court,
after which the jury was polled and

the present term of court. Although

His composure was perfect and he
possessed that same degree of indif

fered. It was learned today that C. F.
Krogel, of Dixonvine, was the meni-
ber of the jury who remained firm
for a verdict of murder hi the second
( degree throughout the deliberations.
Mr.'Krogel argued that the shooting
i was not of a deliberate nature, but
: was the result of an altercation.
