According to the visiting boys, II. 11. Kppen stein. M. C. Webster and C. A. Hunk- head, about ISO men will be entered In the big race, which will leave Portland Friday morning and arrive here that evening. The winner will he determined by the condition of his machine and not entirely by the time made. He will receive a cash prize of 2i. It is expected that the time will be about nine hours, this being the fastest made by the three Sun day. If the local race track can be put in condition a number of speed races will be run at the fair grounds which will attract cyclists from other cities.
