born In Georgia, ills father was a
regular army officer. Young Hollls

Michigan university, came to Coos
Day 12 yenrs ago, and made a lot of
money. That stamps him as a man
of action. He is a Democrat and
will not accept any other nomination,
such as the Progressives or the Pro
hibitionists. Ho would have a great
deal of prestige In a Democratic Con
gress on account of coming from the
Houth and being a warm supporter
of President Wilson. He has built
a beautiful home on Coos Hay for his
wife and baby, nnd lives In this dis
trict to stay. He tins faith In the
Coos Hay country and belioves there
will bo fifty thousand people uround
that harbor Inside of ten years. With
the railroad coming In there things
are lively and the time has come for
southwestern Oregon to have a live
man In Congress, and he Is putting
