dreams, and now comes the Journal
of the American Medical Association
of Chicago, and says:

tion of anesthetics, such stories ex
cite mirth."
The decision of Judge Cleeton
nullifying the new tax law Is u boon

be regretted that it came after so

ors, prizefighters, barteuders, bank
ers, bakers anything but road build

Mount Pi-mi, Pn who for sixteen suc
cessive St. Patrick's days played over
the grave of Thomas Iltiunnboe In the
Kant Reading cemetery In fulfillment
of a promise made to the hite Ilnnna
hue on his deathbed. Is sorrowing be

Two days before Ilannnhoe's deatti
he summoned SchacfTcr to bis bedside
and asked blui If he remembered his
promise. Scbaeffer told tbe sick man
that be did and assured him that It
would be faithfully kept.
Cornetist HehaefTcr on every St. Pat
rick's night ever since has played tbe
two tunes over the Ilannnboe grave,
surrounded by n host of friends of
both. Hut Mr. Scbaeffer's hands, which
formerly were masters of the most dlltt
cult music, are uw bent and twisted,
due to Illness. Last year he kept bis
promise, but was hardly able to handle

The hotel of llaunalioe, known as the
Stars and Stripes, was one of the un
