Four 175 feet steel spans, Camel back or Curved Chord Pratt Truss design; approximately 100 feet of frame wood truss approaches; four solid diamond shaped concrete mas onry piers and one concrete abutt ment. The above bridge to have a clear roadway of 20 feet and a clear head room of 15 feet. A foot walk six feet In width with gas pipe railing shall be constructed on the north truss; the south truss shall be designed symetrlcal with the north one. The design shall be for the follow ing loading: The bridge floor and its supports a live load of 100 pounds per square foot or a 20-ton traction engine with axle 1 1 feet C. to C. and 7 foot guage 4-5 of the load to be carried by the rear axle. Foot walks designed for a live load of pounds per square foot. Truss design for a live load of 100 pounds per square foot on bridge and 80 pounds per square foot on walks. Bidders must submit plans with bids. The plans must be plain and detailed In regard to stresses and size of members. Bide for trestle approaches to be by the linear foot. Bidders must visit the site and satisfy themselves as to local condi tions, the County Court assuming no responsibility on account of lack of knowledge on the part of the bidder. Alt bids must be accompanied by a certified check In an amount equal to five per cent of the bid.
