It will be remembered that Car- lienter, while assisting to repair the bridge, came In contact with the Ore gon Power company s wires ana was thrown into the swltt water below. He was unconscious and would have drowned had not a companion fol lowed him down stream a short dis tance on shore and when the oppor tunity presented, itself swam out and rescued hint.
