In the long run of 11 blocks to tbe fire (remember the firemen have to run to the city hall first from wherever they may be), a majority of the boys became exhausted and the carts were drawn no faster than a walk the last three, blocks. And It should be known Hint it is an Impossibility for the two men on tho tongue of one ot those heavy carts, going down hill, to hold It back and keep It from running over all who are pulling it. An auto truck would have arrived at that fire within two minutes with everything needed, and the firemen would not have been exhausted when they reached it. We nro glad that Mr. Strong ad mits that the Hamilton houso could have been saved to a considerable ex tent with an auto truck. As everr one knows, that fire originated In tho upper part of tho house and burned down through the house.
