Few people can be found who real ly do not like apples, therefore it Is an easy matter for growers to sell their product providing their price ideas are not out of Hue with the amount of money that consumers are able to muster. It might bu stated here In passing that too many grades oT npphs have been parked for the good of the industry. Tlne Is, to be sure, but Utile difference in these grades and the fancy apple from one section is considered the choice of another. After all, (here are too few extra fancy applea as that grade has been known heretofore for growers to even consider that branch of the trade. It Is the average good apple that the general public wantH, and it Is willing to pay what they aro worth as a food. After all, Iho apple is really a food and not a luxury, as it has been term ed during recent years. Apples should not be considered a luxury anil should not be priced an sin-h.
