Mrs. Claude Plaster, of Cottage
Grove, spent Saturday and Sunday
with her sister, Mrs. Barton Helll
well. Mrs. Henry Burt returned to her
home Saturday from Portland, where
Bho had been spending some time on
account. of her poor health. We are
glad to say that she, has greatly Im
proved. Last Sunday morning a barn be
longing to M. L. Hungary, west of
town, was burned to tho ground. The
cause of the fire is unknown. No in
surance. Mr. Hungary lost some hay,
one cow, harness, Beveral dozen
chickens and one fine team of work
horses, which he had hired from Mr.
Woodard, of this city.
