At the laat meeting of tbe Orange committee waa appointed by tbe master as the result of a resolution, to try and get all the residents of the valley interested In the matter of poisoning the digger squirrels this spring. This committee, composed of W. B. Melton, C. H. Bailey and John Caaebeer, mci laat Tuesday night and decided to call a public meeting at the Orange ball for next Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock to decide how much poisoned wheat to make up and to appoint a day for all residents to go after the digger. The committee expects to be r.ble to fur nish the poisoned wheat to residents of the valley for a trifling sum. At the last meeting of the Orange the following program waa rendered: Piano duet, Miss Merle Casebeer and Mrs. C. H. Bailey; recitation, H. Mtaner; recitation, Dee Adams; de bate, resolved, that the pen Is mightier than the sword; affirmative. Ralph Karcher; negative, Qulncy Brown; recitation, Wm. Karcher.
