After telling a storv of au attack by two robbers who had laid him un conscious with n blow on the head, the young messenger was taken to a hospital in Taft where he shammed Injury so successfully that not until yesterday was ho seriously suspected. Then he was brought buck here and today was subjected to tho "third degreo" for five hours by railroad and express detectives.
