Two cities in which campaigns are n ;w under way for providing such signs in an artistic manner are Kansas City and Haiti more. In Kansas City Mr. Frank S. Land, president of the Municipal Art league, Is advocating combination street name posts and street lights. Mr. Laud points out the fact that many of the street signs put up several years ago are torn down or have become uu recognizable through stress of weath er. If placed on decorative posts the signs would be in a position where all could see and would be loss ensily de stroyed.
