Limine, of Chicago, who bought a line on-hard tract In the oast "end of the valley last Tuesday, expects to return here next fall aud build a modern home on his prop erty. J. L. Larson, of Granite Falls. Minn., who bought a ten-acre or chard tract here in April, arrived here the first of the week with his family and household goods aud will build a modern home on his property as -soon as arrangements can be made. Mrs. Fanny GHstrup. of Minnesota who bought a fruit tract of 40 acres in Sutherlin Valley this week, wijl have a modern residence erected on the property at once and make her future home here with her son and two daughters. James Wood, of Titonka, Iowa, who came in with the Luse Land Co's. excursion last Monday and pur- hased a fine ten-acre orchard tract in the east end of the valley, will build a modern residence on his property next fall, at which time he will take up his permanent residence here with his family. E. C. Theuerwachter, a well-known furniture dealer of Redwood Falls, Minn., was among the excursionists who visited Sutherlin the first of the week, and ho purchased one of the most desirable tracts in the valley, near Fair Oaks. Mr. Theuerwachter expects to take up his permanen' residence here next fall, S. P. Thorson. a substantial and popular business man of Winthrop. Minn., came in with the Luse Land excursion last Monday, and he was so favorably impressed with Suther lin Valley that he purchased a most desirable orchard tract and building site before he had been here five hours. Citizens of Sutherlin will he pleased to welcome Mr. Thorson and his family next fall, when they ex pect to take up their permanent resi dence here. Other Personals. Mrs. Loranco and daughter, from Auburn, NVb., arrived in Sutherlin Tuesdav to visit their daughter and. sister, Mrs. C. V. Hartley. Mrs. C Clinton Italtt returned last Saturday from an extended visit with relatives and friends at her old home in South Dakota. She was accom panied here by her brother. Harry Searle. who owns an orchard tract in Sutherlin Valley, and who will remain here several weeks. Charles CI. Glen, of the S. L. & V. Co. force, departed Tuesday for Cin- innali, Ohio, to attend the wedding of his sister and for a visit with his parents.
