His company has already furnished pressed brick for some prominent buildings in Roseburg and will prob ably supply more of them hereafter. Mr. Edwards finds that Roseburg has among the best prospects for exten sive building this year of any town in Oregon. The regular monthly meeting of the Roseburg Commercial Club will be held tonight, ,- being called to order at 8 o'clock. KOn DELEGATE TO THE NATIONAL CONVENTION. Hon. Victor P. Moses, of Corvallls. candidate for delegate to the Na I tlonal Democratic convention, Is a man deserving of the support ot all I Democratic voters in Douglas Coun ty. Judge Moses attended school in 1 Roseburg when Prot. Horner was I principal, and the luter lived lor three years at Myrtle Creek, where : be spent same of this time teaching school. He moved to Henton County In order to attend college, and Is a graduate of the Oregon Agricultural I College. Mr. Moses alter serving I three terms as deputy clerk of Deu- ' ton County, was three times elected County Clerk and Recorder. He is at present County Judge ot Benton County, having been elected In It) 10 by a large majority in a county nomi nally KUU Republican. This only shows the popularity of Mr. Moses In his own home couuty. He has al- waya been a consistent Democrat and is well fitted to represent his party In this state at the National conveu tlon at Ualtimore. Mr. Moses Is also president of the Oreicon Good Roads League, and vice-president or the Stute Associa tion of County Judges und Cummin- sioners. The Democrats of this county can do not better than poll a good, big vote for this candidate who Is well (nullified, and can he de peniled on to do his purt well nnd represent Oregon In a satisfactory manner. Douglas County Socialists have no Intention of endorsing either C. S. Jackson for District Attorney, nor D. J. Jarvit for Sheriff, both Repub licans. Hall, . local orgaulier of the Socialist party, In regard to the report that Social ist were registering at Republicans in order to vote for Jackson and Jar- vis In the primaries. A committee of socialists, oi htch 1 was a member, made a per sonal examination of the registration books and found out that out ot about 50 members of our party who have registered only two subscribed themselves as Republicans," said Hall. "The report that we are going to endorse Jackson and Jarvis is ab solutely uutrue.
