celebrated her 101'nd birthday, hule
and hearty, at t lie home of her sec
mid cousin. YV. J. Mulkey, at 070
Bant Thirteenth street, today. .Mrs
Todd was born In Kentucky and
came to Missouri when a child. Twen
ty years ago she came to Oregon and
for the past nine years bas been a
resident of Eugeue. She is ready of
wit and bright as a dollar and her
health Is excellent. A party of about
35 frlendB partook of her birthday
dinner, and among those who were
present none were more lively than
the hostess. Her husband, Frank
Todd, was a brother of Mm. Abraham
Lincoln.
Eighty-three years ago, at the ago
of 19 yearn, Sarah Mulkey, who later
became Mrs. Todd. Joined the Chris
tian Church, and hus ever since been
a consistent Christian woman. She
had no children of her own, but she
raised four adopted children.
