He had some beautiful specimens of pock it gold as large as the bowl of a teaspoon. Mr. Dean declined to state how much gold they had taken out of the pocket, but that It reaches somewhere in the neighbor hood of I15.0U0 is believed by many. Railroad Com pany, now In the Supreme Court, and whereby the railroad company stands a tine show to lose Its grant lands for the reason that they did not com ply with the terms of the grant and sell the land. All of the parties named made application In 1907 to buy land from the railroad company, and all received sarcastic letters In reply to their offers. They hap pened to keep these letters and they were turned over to the Government to use In the big rase. Jesse Schlessel, flour miller, who has been working at Drain for some time with the boiler mill, was here yesterday looking after the purchase or lease of the Canyonvllle Flouring Mills from George V.
