Wilson, of the hoard of regents of the Oregon Agricultural College, has announced the purchase of an acre and a half of laud Ju?t north of the present court of honor, west of the engineering shops, as a site for the school of mines building. "The contention that land aboit the college Is being held at too hign a figure, and that the college lias been paying too much for Its campus additions Is disproven by the present case," said Mr. Wilson.
