The second race, pacing, 2: 12 class, best 2 In 3, brought five entries he foro the judges' stand, Axnola, Rose burg Boy, .Marin, Baron Lovelace and J Sally Younger. In the first heat. after some difficult y the bunch got off well together, with Koseburg IJoy In the lead. Marin broke at the start-off and was unuble to recover. On the home stretch, Koseburg Boy, Axnola, Sally Younger and Baron Lovelace Bhot down the track closely abreast and In the exciting finish Koseburg Boy won by barely a neck so close was he pressed by Axnola; time U;2.'t. In the second heat and on the last half with all the flyers running close together, Koseburg Boy broke so badly that he was put to the discard. In this heat Ax nola swung In first, followed by Sally Younger. Marin and Baron Lovelace, Koseburg Boy coming in last; time 2:25. In the third nnd decisive heat Axnola won again, time 2:25. Tho fourth race, a 2:20 trot for a purse of $200, best 2 In 3, found St. Michael, Velma Z., and Mark U competing lor honors, it proved snappy race and St. .Michael, on tho first heat, won only by a length ove: Velma Z.; time 2:30. St. Mlchae won tho second and third heats time 2:32-2:30, with Velma second The running races excited muc iiitnrent. In the 3-8 mile dash for $7."i purse. Faith .McAllister, Teddy Itlondle and Lilly Adams were en tered. In was closely contested an Kallh McAllister won, with Teddy second, Blondio third nnd Llll Vdams fourth; time 39 seconds. In the 5-8 mile dash for a $10 purse, Bonnie Keg, Induno, Forest King and IMsan entered. It prove one of the best numbers on the card and was run with spirit and dash kmnie Keg was victor, Induno sec ond, IMhuii third and Forest Kin fourth; time 1:07. The free for all saddle horse race found Bess, winner of Friday's ruce, Dixie and Penonia entered. It was a snappy, hard-run race and was won by Dixie, with Penoma second and Bess third.
