The candidates are working hard now to run up a big reserve for the last day of this battle while thoy have an opportunity of getting votes for subscriptions uccording to the present schedule. Incidentally the contest editor . wishes to mention that the names of candidates who are not yet in the roll of honor have not been dropped from the list. We have your names with the voles you have to your credit, and sho Id you reach tho 50, 000 mark your name will be added to the roll of honor candidates and printed dally. There will be no more nominations acceptedand there will be no more vote coupons appear in the paper after this week. The judges will Hud themselves busily engaged with the counting of subscription ballots on July 22nd, and as everyone will want to know the results as quickly ns possible, the contest editor has de cided not to tako up any time count ing coupons. So get all the subscriii tions you can that's the best way to get votes that is, enough votes to win you won't set the world on (Ire with astonish men t through the mere polling of vote coupons; they are not big enough to cuuse very much sensation when tho last day conies. Some Changes. There are two ndvances in the standing of today's list. Airs. A. E. Aldrich gained one point toward the top today and cast over 20,000 votes. Saturday she had 73. 345 votes to her credit; today 99.580. . We wish that you could have gotten Just 420 votes more to poll, Mrs. Aldrich. Wo would like to see you In the hundred thousand class. That gain of 20.000 is big see If you can repeat that pretty soon nnd you'll be taking first place before the week is out. Mrs. F. L. Beard, of Yoncal'a, gained over 10,000 votes today.
