Each supervisor will be required to report In detail each month, as to the condition of each school In bis charge, such report to Include such data as the County Superintendent may re quire, also each teacher will be re quired to report each visit of the su pervisor, at once, to the County Su perintendent. This report of the teacher will In dicate the date of visit, time spent, instructions given, and such other matter as will enable the County Su perintendent to check up the work o( tho supervisor. New regulations will be adopted by the board as arising conditions re quire. The manner In which the new edu cational hoard took hold of their du ties, and the conservative considera tion they gave the problems confront ing them. Indicates that a better se lection for a board of tills kind could not have been made. Upon being Interviewed regarding the new law, Mr. Chaney said he would not venture a statement as to what the results would be, as It was Blmply an experiment, and for this reason the board will be as economi cal as Is consistent with good service. Ho said this law was somewhat of a revolution In the Oregon school sys tem, and should it prove a success it will take several years to prove to the people the value of the law. The board will meet again on June 24, and at that time will no doubt se lect the remaining two supervisors. GIRI.S ASTRIDE INKER ILIX.
