To morrow they go ou to Portland. Mr. Booth will be one of the judges at the rose show there. Enroute home he will officiate in a similar capacity at the Eugene rose festival. Mrs. A. M. Woodford, wife of Med ford's postmaster, died Saturday, aged 05 years, of typhoid. Her nial--den name was Eliza Dyer and she at one time resided near Riddle. The wrestling bout between Peter Huzukos and L. W. Dyreborg at Oak land last Saturday night ended in a row. After the men had battled for about an hour, the referee awarded the victory to the Greek, claiming that Dyreborg used the strangle hold in violation of the terms of agree ment. Dyreborg insisted that the ref eree was mistaken, that he had used a forward Chancery hold. Buzukos rertised Dyreborg's challenge to con tinue the bout, and the latter left the mat, branding the Greek as a quitter, it was expected that Dyre borg would be a quick winner by rea son of the fact that he not only knows the game thoroughly but outweighs Huzukos at least 20 pounds.
