south of this city, are toiluy search
ing for Home clew to the origin of a
disastrous fire which destroyed the
Marlon Tryer hardware store, the
C. W. Wolter's mercantile store, the
State Hank of Talent, Xorman's bar
ber shop and John Conway's shoe
store. The fire started shortly after
2 o'clock Tuesday morning.
The total loss is placed ut between
2;",. 0(10 and jr.o.lloll, part of which
is covered by Insurance. The belief
is strong in Talent that the lire was
started by Incendiaries.
