Death was sudden and was from heart trouble. He had one to the Siuslaw country on a' hunting trip, and while in Florence for a day or so he was suddenly stricken. The remains were brought Eugene and the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon under the uspiees of the Elks. Deceased was a cigar morchant or Eugene, and leaves a wife, formerly .Miss Lulu Applegate, of Yoncalla, besides his parents and other rela tives at Lorano. He was a graduate of the O. A.
