The local telephone service was "cut
over" Saturday night to the new sys
tem. Remarkably few errors wore
found in the connections. Calls for
central are now automatic. New
phones wih selective ringing will be
installed as rapidly as possible.

J. Page in Oakland Saturday after

of rare beauty. Many peoplo came in
from tho surrounding country to pay
