Notice is hereby given all parties holding county warrants Issued by Douglas county, Oregon, and In dorsed "not paid for want of funds" prior to and including the 11th day of July, 1909, to present the same to the county treasurer of said coun ty at his office for payment, as in terest thereon will cease after the dat of this notice. C. cadet band were greatly pleaBed with thB kind manner In which they were re ceived and entertained In Roseburg, and It Is with feelings of regret that they are obliged to leave the city in which they were so well Impressed. Aside from fulfilling their duties dur ing the Carnival they felt It a rare treat to have the opportunity of spending a few days in this beautiful city of roses. The school work of the year at Corvallis is rapidly drawing to a close. As a fitting climax, a celebra tion commemorating the 25th anni versary of the Oregon Agricultural College as a state Institution will b9 held In conjunction with the com mencement exercises, from June 11 to 14th. Reduced rates are offered by the railroad, and it Is expected that thousands will visit the institu tion which has so rapidly come to the front during the past few years. X.
