Overman, the mining pro moter, who was given an examination before the Justice of the Peace at Myrtle Creek, Monday, on a charge of burglary, has been held to answer to the Grand Jury, with bonds fixed at $1000. which he has furnished. The prosecuting witness la George Cation, who alleges that Overman forcibly entered the cabin on his homestead on North Myrtle Creek. Overman claimed the land by virtue of minernl deposits. Dr. C. L. Pearson and son, Leon, left this morning for New York state, ta be absent about six weeks. Mrs. Pearson accompanied them at far as Portland, from which city she will Journey to Seaside to visit with Mrs. Uthel Nottingham Fullcrton. Upon his return to this city. Dr. Pearson will retire temporarily from the prac tice of dentistry to look after other interests. In the meantime his of fices in The Review building will be occupied by another dentist, who will arrive here In a few days.
