He gave one year's service to hie country In the Civil war, as a member of Company K., First Oregon infantry. He was married April 20, 1 SOT, to Jane Dautsherty. Four children were born to this union. One of them died In Infancy. Tbe three living are: Mrs. Vina Fannon, Mrs. Rosa Butler and Geo. Walker. There Is also an adopted daughter, Mrs. Aud rey Hiley. These, with four grand children, are left to mourn with, and to comfort, their sorrowing mother. Brother Walker Joined the Chris tlon church In 189.-,, and has ever tried to live a Christian life.
