Tho wo-iitlurful Schumann horses which have elect rifU'd all Kurope are at last being exhibited In America, and it was naturally the entwpriie or Uie HuiKuJiK BrotiiiTS that has brought this about. The people of Hos'burs will have ' itn opportunity of seeing this act on Friday, August 27, that being the :la(e of the visit of the world's best . show. The Schumann act is the grandest achievement of all the-animal itniln ' era that have ever lived. It has no precedent in history. The animals are under the direction, of Prof. Kd- ward Wulff and were trained by the 1 wizawl. Albert Schumann. A riint . pie and direct statement of what the narvelous animals do would scarcely be bt'liovel. One would think it a physical impossibility for a hor.e to laiFo a glass of water to its mouth :nd drink every drop of the contests, nevertheless thai is what these ani mals do. They also push each oi'lier about in immense beer barrels, they walk on their html feet and waltz to music. One of them actually smokes a pipe. The trained animal features are one of the wonders of ibis year's pro gram. There is a new elephant act in which a hair dozen elephants tele ,ihune to each other from one end of the main tent to the other. There are pigs that -skip the rope and play on musical . instruiiuniis, zebras, Hamas and camels that do many wonderful things in one big act and a. donkey that rtdes a velonipede. Another of the seiisal ions t be Arthur Sa.xon trio of strong men. One of lite three lifts a ton and a half in weight. It is a quest ion whether among the countless millions on the earth three others could be fouml to maici) these wonderful giants. Two of them form the pillars of a bridge ' fiver whi"h passes an automobile with six passengers. Then for good meaeure there is I the most ghastly of all thrillers, the j an toiw; bile -double Sdiner-nuM, and- the act of tho great Spanish wire , dancer. KobM'lelio. ' The show will i "ome here with an entire new mttfit. The two perfortnairoes will be given exactly as presented at. the Madison Square (iarden in New York City. Such a hit did the show make there ' hat in the five weeks of Ms stay rn.nm) people were turned away un able to get seats.
