Mystery sur rounds the case, and while the cor oner's jury returned a verdict of sui cide, friends and relatives of the young man believe he was murdered by someone who attempted to hold him up. The revolver was near the body and one cartridge had been exploded. The revolver belonged to Johnson's brother and he had borrow it be cause twice recently attempts bad been made to hold him up.
