Arrangement are practically com pleted for the erection this year of .a flue, three-story temple by the Masonic lodge of this city. The building will bo of brick' with full size basement, and will occuov the 'corner on Jackson and Cass streets directly north of the I. O. O. F. building, where now stands the wood en structure occupied by Dr. John son's dental office. The first floor will be utilized tor business purposes, the 8ocond floor for offices and the third floor for lodge rooms. The lodge has authorized the sale of the present wooden building, pre paratory to clearing the ground for the new structure. This Is one of tho first of the new'bulldlngs which were assured of being erected on ac count of the favorable outcome of the street paving bond election. Oth ers will follow a little later. The Masons have contemplated building for some years past, but were never before sure that suitable tenants could be had to occupy the building. Now that doubt is removed and there is every assurance that the building win go up tnis year.
