Our attention has again been
called to the raw faking being done
right aJong by the Oily News In its
so-called news reports we haven't
read the sheet ourselves. This time
It was -the county court that was thus
Imposed upon and they personally
called the Oily outfit down, "good
and proper." They reported that the
court had paid Judge Wonacott s
daughter $250 for work upon the
county books while they were being
experted, in addition to the M)0 paid
to Mr. Ray, on his contract for do
ing that" work. As a matter of fact
Iho county court did not pay any
thing whatever to Judge Wonacott's
daughter, the entire cost of the ex
porting being butt $600, according to
the contract, and just as reported In
Thursday's Review. This Is only one
more of the Oily News' numerous
fakes, and only again verifies what
we have frequently said, that you can
never believe anything you Bee In
that sheet.
