That tho Hindus and Mohammed
ans in India have laid aside their pre
judices and united in a gigantic con
spiracy to wipe out British rule In
that country In one bloody stroke is
the sensatlonaj story which Is told by
Miss Helen A. Wilcox, an American
missionary, who returned from the
Orient on the steamer Mongolia.
Miss Wilcox says the manufacture
of bombs by the revolutionists Is a
well known fact, the women being as
active in making the Infernal ma
chines as are the men. Wholesale ar
rests have Ik en made by the English
authorities, but the purpose of the
natives Is not broken.
Miss Wilcox sayB that for a while
every English resident In India fear
ed assassination, . dynamite outrages
being of almost dally occurrence.
But, she says, the natives are now
thinking of wider ranges of activity
and have decided that it will be eas
ier to wipe out the British race in
India in one swoop Instead of wast
ing time on petty outrages.
