Victim of Three V u. j
MYRTLE POINT. Or.. nv. 17.
Charged with one om the most revolt
ing crimes In Myrtle Point's history,
htnis Rose, Joseph Williams and T.
Kinnicut were arrested here. Rose
and Williams have been bound over
to the grand juy and Kinnicut will
be taken before the county court.
The complaining witness Is Miss
Lillian Endtcutt, the 1 ti-vear-oM
daughter of W. W. Endlcott, ' the
Mrytle Point blacksmith. She claims
and it Is supported by other evidence
that the three youths took her out
for a ride, piled her with liquor and
then assaulted her. The crime occur
red a week ago Saturday night, be
tween Myrtle Point and Coquille, but
the matter did not become public for
a time owing to the authorities en
deavoring to get the young men in
custody.
Rose and Kinnicut were arrested
late Saturday evening and Willlauu
was caught while proceeding to Hose
burg on horseback. The three youths
belong to prominent families. Rose
Is 20 years old, Williams 22 and Kiu
nicutt 17. As tho latter is under 18
he will probably escape with a sen
tence to the reform school If the
charges made by Miss Endlcott are
proven.
Williams and Rose were hound
over $500 and $700bonds, respect
ively. MONEY PLEXTIFI L.
Money Is Indeed plentiful when
such opportunities for investment are
off tired as are now presented by the
Eiler s Piano House to the citizens
of Roseburg. Eleven pianos sold in
seven days is tho most convincing
proof. $154.00 to $238.00 may be
saved by buying now. Sale lasts only
four more days. Taylor & Wilson
