GLENDALK. Or., Nov. 8. Tim
body of an unknown man, apparent
r about 40 years old, wearing
shtihby blue coat and overalls, was
round this morning lying numng the
eaves in a lonely spot on the bank
oT Cow Creek, about a mile north of
his city, near the Southern Pucllio
rallroiul bridge. The man was seen
around town lust Wednesday beg
gins.
Beside the body was found an
open ruKor, a whetstone, a piece of
looking-glass and a small basket.
The basket contained an oh) felt hat
and a few pieces of raw potato and
celery, evidently the remnants of his
last meal.
One side of -the man's face was
partially shaved and he had evidently
been overcome with exposure or
heart disease while shaving and had
dropped the rnzor and fallen forward
on the leaves. Nothing was found
to give any cluo to the man s Iden
tity. (Coroner Jowett learned of the
finding of the body by telephone on
Sunday evening. After Justice of
the Peace C. T. Nail had fully In
formed him as to the circumstances,
the coroner doclded that an Inquest
was unnecessary. The body was
burled at Glendale today.
