Crescent City, (Calif.) News, Sept
17: The case of the People vs. G.
W. Taylor, which came up In the
superior court Wednesday of this
week, was dismissed. Mr. Taylor, it
will be remembered, is a timber land
locator, from Rosehurg, Oregon, and
was arrested -on a charge of obtain
ing money under false pretense. He
was tried on one charge a couple of
weeks ago, the Jury disagreeing.
(Taylor arrived here from Crescent
City on Friday of this week.

Isnbelle Dallon was born In Illinois
of English parents, August 29. 1852.
She was married March 17, 1875, to
Siren Madison, who survives her.
Soon after their marriage they
moved to Nebraska, where they lived
until coining to Oregon in 1893. '
They first settled at Looking Glass,
this county, and later moved to Kel
logg, where Mrs. Mndlson died Aug
ust HI. 1908, of consumption.
She was the mother of ten chil
dren, seven of whom are living.
They are: Mrs. Mabel Ruder and Miss
Kdlth Mndlson and George, Edgar,
Clarence, Charles and Frank Mudl
son, nil residents of Kellogg.
Mrs. Madison wub always a kind,
loving wife and mother and a true
friend to all her neighbors.
During her long Illness, she was
ever palient nud gentle, and died
true. Christian woman, ready to
meet her God.
