Cottage Orove Leader: There Is
strong sentiment in north Douglas
in favor of forming a new county out
of north Douglas and south Lane.
Those people with their extensive
lumber and timber Interests need
road and bridge improvements and
they get practically no county aid In
this direction. The same may w
said of the Divide, Upper Coast Fork.
Bohemia mines and Loralno country.
The only relief for those neglected
section of Lane nnd Douglas Is tin
formation of a new county.
Just as the Leader has said man
times before, .the rapid development
of this part of Latin and Douglni
cuuntles, their many needs nnd re
quirements and their isolation from
the present county seuts, demund the
formation of n new county from the
northern and southern suctions oi
these two . monster counties, with
Cottngo Grove . as the county sent
In which event tho Interests of Lo
ralne, Pass Creek, Coust Kork, How
rivor and Bohemia would be prompt
ly looked nfter and the development
of this favored, section hastened and
Increased a hundred fold.
