A very quiet and pretty wedding

and Mrs. W. Ellison, of Wilbur, on
Sunday evening, August !. l0,
when MUa Amy Ellison was united
in marriage with Mr. James Leather-
man, of Wilbur. At 8 o'clock the
couple marched Into the parlor and
took places under an arch of ferns I
and flowers, where. Id the presence
of about twenty invited guests, the
marriage ceremony was soiemuized
by Rev. F. W. Leouard-
After congratulations the bridal
party and guests entered the dining
room, which was beautifully decor
ated for the occasion, and where de
licious refreshments were served.
Tb decorations were green and
white.
The bride was beautifully dressed
in a costume of cream mohair, wntlt
the groom wore the conventional
black.
Several beautiful and useful pres

drink and tobacco store, in the Crea
son block, to Otis Fisher, who pre
vlously sold his barber shop to S.
H. Clarke, formerly operating a chair
at Thos. Weatherford's parlors.
Both changes went into effect imme
diately. The stock of soft drinks and
tobacco carried by Mr. Fisher In
connection with his barber shop has
been transferred to his new location,
and Mr. Crarke. his successor, will
do a barber business only. Mr. B-.ir-leson
leaves this week on a business
trip to South Dakota and Iowa, and
will return to Roseburg about win
ter to remain permanently.
