There are About 12,000 troops en

but that is remediable by the use

The other day Private Kernan
missed drill while he was getting a

home.
Musician Short is special trumpet

ing fine on account of his position.
When Private Caro was relieved
from his first sentry duty, be was
asked if he made any arrests. He
eplied: "No, nothing went 'through
my line but one .automobile."
We have drill twice each day, four
hours in both drills. This morning
we had experience in pitching "pup"
tents, but heretofore we have had
both close order and extended regi
mental drills, skirmish runs, etc.

Malaria is due to impurities in
healthful qualities ol the circulation,
S.S.S.
The body in then deprived of its necessary nourishment and strength, and is
unable to resist the countless disorders
sutlers in consequence. The apetite fails, digestion is weakened, chills
and slight lever are frequent, while the sunerer loses energy and ambition.
Boils, skin eruptions, and some times sores and ulcers follow when the
blood becomes deeply polluted with the malarial germs. Both a tonic
and blood purifier are needed to cure Malaria, and S. S. S. is liest fitted for
this work. It is the most perfect of all blood purifiers and ut the same time
an invigorating, healthful tonic. S. S. S. goes down into the circulation,
and removes every trace of impurity or poison, and gives to the bhod tiie
health-sustaining qualities it needs. It cures Malaria thoroughly and per
manently Ijeeause it removes from the blood the germs and poisons which
produce the disease, and while doing this tones up and strengthens every
part of the svsti-ui. Book with information alxjut Malaria and any medical

lightly torn by the animal.
The battle took place In the hen

the chickens ran out of the hen
house before her approach, she did
not think anything was wrong. She
had no sooner entered the henhouse

nibbed n large club which hnppen-

White she does not remember. It
must be that she struck just as the

While the first blow probably dis
