In a box car loaded with lumber In
the railroad yards here this moiulim

Two of the men and the girl claim
to have enme from Portland and the

18 years of age but appears to be
younger. She gives her name as
Mary Hell and says she has an aunt
living In this vicinity but refused to
give her name. She claims to have
been working In a laundry in Port
land and says her parent live In
Kast Portland. Marshal Norman said
he did not leant the names of the
three men under arrest, hut they
will be given upon aralgnmeiit before

fore a Jury on Thursday morning.

Shake and h ush lace curtains to re
move the dust and oak them In soapy
water overnight. Work the curtains
gently up and down In the water and

the dirt out. Put them into a clean
warm suds and keep changing the wa
ter until the curtains are clean. Never
wring curtains by tin rid, for It strains

Mild Skin Bleach.
Two ounces or pure honey, half an
mnee each of glycerin and rue tided

Uric add and thirty-three drops of
rose essence. Put the glycerin and
loney into a basin and set In hot wa
fer, stirring until both are mingled.
Into the spirits put the add to dissolve
and then ai!d the rose essence. Let the

then combine the two mixtures. This
should be rubbed well into the skin
