the hair and pulled her to the bank

V. I). McCord, who was Injured in
a collision of street cars near Ta
coma. Wunh., last week, has returned
to Hoseburg a little worse for his
unpleasant experience. He was first
reported to have sustained only
bruised knee, but he got a broken
rib as well. He is ablo to be about
town, as usual, however. ..' Mr. Mc
Cord seems to be a marked man for
car collisions. While a railway mall
clerk in Minnesota in 1903. he was
hurt so badly In a wreck that he was
practically an Invalid for two years
afterwards.
