1908, when their daughter. Miss Ed-

The house was tastefully decorat
ed for the occasion. At the noon
hour, while Miss Llnie Hahn plaved
the wedding march, the contracting
parties entered the parlor and stood
beneath a green arch which wiib
decorated with white bolls.
The brido wore a cream colored
silk lustre dress and carried a bo
quet of white sweet peas. The groom
wore the customary black.
Rev. Hicks, of the First Bantlst
ch'irch, of Roseburg, spoke the
wuras mat. made tbem husband and
wife.
After the ceremony the guests,
aooui torty III number, repaired to
the dining room, where a veritable
wedding feast awaited them under
the supervision of Mrs. 8. M. Suf
fron and Mrs. J. B. Kurtz. The din
ner was perfect. A neat boquct of
sweet peas, arranged by Mrs. Anna
Bradford, the groom's mother, laid
by each plate and one was worn dur
ing dinner by each guest.
The young people were the recip
ients of many useful and expensi
presents. Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Teater, the bride's parents, present
ed them with a complete set of Bilver
knives, forks, spoons, etc.; Mr. and
Mrs. McNabb, a Bet of silver nut

church was greatly pleased with the
attendance and interest at the serv
ices of the church on Sunday. In
spite of summer vacations and de
pressive heat, great enthusiasm was
manifested. The number present at
