Newton M. Jonesand Frank Massing,
of Crawfordsvillo, Ind., arrived in
Glendale this week and may decide to
locale here. Mr. Jones is a cousin ol
Walter Smith, of this city.
Doctors W. H. Dale and M. Howard
have moved to Harrisburg, Linn
county.
J. B. Walker, a teamster in the em
ploy of the Glendale Lumber Company,
met with a scrlouB accident last Satur
day while driving a team attached to a
wagon heavily laden ivith lumber. A
severe jolt threw him directly In front
of the wheels, one of which pasted over
bis chest, fracturing three ribs. Mr.
Walker la now under medical care and
his recovery is expected In due time.
Mat Mikelson, employed for some
time at the sawmill of the Glendale
Lumber Co., departed Sunday evening
for Tacoma, Wash.
