Fisber has decided to give up bis praotlce in this city and move to California, the change in location being rendered lmperativo by Mrs. Fisher's health, which Is not of the best. They will leave in about two weeks. Wm. Warner, of Salem, has filed a suit against J. O. Johnson, of Drain, jr., in the circuit court to recover $250 and interest from Feb. 26, 1803, al leged to be due on a promissory note, less $25 heretofore paid. Tbe littlo thrc-e-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. B, Hermann, of Myrtle Point, was seriously burned Sunday by her clothing being set on fire with some matchos she had by some moans gotten hold of. Her balr was burued off and one arm and limb and side of her face fearfully burned. She is re ported as still being in a critical con dition.
