Contrary to hiB decision Tuesday, Coroner Twitchell 1b holding an in quest at Myrtle Creek today over the remains of Jacob Cross, the young transient Spanish-American war vete ran, who was so horribly mangled early Tuesday morning by a train. The authorities at Mynle Creek suspected foal play on part of two other tran sients after they had investigated the matter and at once notiiied Coroner Twiteholl to that effect.
